What the event is about:
The Young Leaders' Day challenges students to reach their own personal goals and motivate them to help those that they are leading to acheive their goals. The purpose of the young leaders day is to make a positive impact in the lives of student leaders and empower them to make a difference in the loves of their fellow students and whole school community.
It is not designed to be a substitute for what schools can do individually, but by giving students access to a diverse range of high profile leaders early in their terms as school leaders, we hope that they will inspire to serve their fellow students and school community.
Objectives:
- Expose students to a diverse range of leaders in society and their views on leadership. Educate students about the ned to grow in knowledge and practical skills in the areas of excellence and leadership.
- Motivate students to be great leaders in their area of influence and make a difference to protect the environment in their leadership role in their schools and families.
- Simple and practical ways shown in the speakers lives and in the decisions they make to teach students how to make the world a better place to live in.
